For the past seven years, Ashley Furniture's Hope to Dream Program has been helping underprivileged children between the ages of 3 and 16 who are without beds and families, who earn very low incomes, live in poverty or are transitioning from a homeless situation. For every bed sold at participating Ashley retail store locations, a portion of the mattress purchase goes toward the program, which gives a bed to a deserving child who might otherwise suffer the negative physical and emotional effects of sleep deprivation. The company has delivered more than 50,000 beds to children and their families.
